Nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstacy, and alcohol...

Happy Belated 10th Birthday to one of my favorite albums of all-time. "Rated R" turned 10 this month. It features Mark Lanegan, Rob Halford, Barett Martin from Screaming Trees, Nick Oliveri, and of course Josh Homme.

.

This is the album that turned me onto Queens of the Stone Age back in 2001 and I haven't been the same since. I "may" have a slight obessesion with anything Josh Homme touches now.

I've written about this album in the past, so go read my review of the Top 20 Albums of the Decade if you're still interested.

It's worth downloading if you haven't ever heard it.  Whether you steal it or buy it.  Just get it.

The Black Keys - Live on the Interface

The Black Keys played 4 songs and did an interview with AOL to promote their new album.  Check out "Next Girl" here or be a loser forever.  It's really your choice...

KCRW Streaming The New Delta Spirit Album

"History From Below" comes out next Tuesday but you can preview the new album by clicking on the link below.  I became a huge fan of these guys about 2 years ago after seeing them open for Dr. Dog. If you're a fan of indie rock, you'll probably love them too.  I'm really digging the new album, it's been a long time coming.

The Black Keys - "Tighten Up" Live On Letterman 5/25/10

"Don't kid yourself, this kid can whistle"

Interview With Ian MacKaye

Former lead singer of Fugazi doing an interview about straight edge.

Faith No More - Cuckoo For Caca

One of Mike Patton's greatest performances. And he has claimed in numerous interviews that he doesn't do drugs, this video would suggest otherwise.

"Next Girl" - Brand New From The Black Keys

Here's a link to the latest new song released by The Black Keys.  This song and "Tighten Up" were given to people that bought presale tickets for their upcoming show and/or pre-ordered the album.

This almost sounds over-produced for The Black Keys but of course I still really like it.  A great song about losing a girl you were in love with but realizing you don't ever want anything like that again.

"My next girl will be nothing like my ex-girl.  I made mistakes back then, I'll never do it again".

Can't wait to see them in May with Pearl Jam!
